To Kill a Mockingbird

This book is written by Harper Lee. Jean Louise (Scout) and Jem who are Atticus Finch's daughter and son live in Maycomb, Alabama. Atticus is a well-known lawyer and is pretty well off even though it is during the depression. Scout is the narrator of the story and she tell of all the different obstacles she goes through. Her father, Atticus defends a black man when he is accused of raping a white girl and Maycomb is a racist white community and most of the town are disappointed in Atticus. Scout also, has an obsession with Boo Radley, a man who lives next door to her and never comes out of his house. He would leave soap figures and gum in a hole in a tree infront of the sidewalk.
Scout Finch in this book, is telling of her memories and childhood experiences. At the end of the book Scout and Jem are attacked by Bob Ewell. And are saved by a mysterious man. Jem was knocked unconscious so Scout was the only one able to see who saved them. To her amazement it was Boo Radley. After all the time she fantasized about who he was, she finally got to meet him in person.
